I’ve been using it about a day now, and I love it. In regards to your question, “Can 300 or 400 be THAT much more of an extra load…” I think so, yes. Obviously, I don’t know how FeedLounge’s servers were responding before the new 100 were let in, but I can tell you how they’re responding now. Sometimes they’re quick. More often they’re a little on the slow side. And sometimes, they slow down to basically everything stops. I had to log out and log back in last night to get things working again.

I had clicked on a feed entry. The status bar at the bottom said it was loading the feed. It sat there like that for a good 2 or 3 minutes, doing nothing. I tried clicking on something else - nothing. I had to just log out.

I don’t think their tiny alpha servers are ready for 300 or 400 more people. Not just yet.

As I hope you see clearly now, there are hundreds and even thousands of people who do not want to try out your service, but are falling off the edge of their seats waiting to get an invite. I do really wish you would open it up more, especially to people who are keeping up with things and posting comments and feedback on your blog. Can 300 or 400 be THAT much more of an extra load than the 100 you just allowed in? I am about to pee my pants im so excited about feedlounge. Please hurry back with either more invites or the more open beta.

Garsh! I replied seven minutes after the original message was sent! I can’t believe I didn’t recieve an invite. Crazy. I think I’m going to have to set Mail.app to check every minute now so I’m not late on the next one.
