Awesome job, Alex. [At least you called us smart and not smart-assed. Of course, I am a smart-ass. ;)]

FeedLounge adds resizable panes

FeedLounge has added resizable panes to all of the different views available. This is really cool.
Every time the guys add a new feature, the application feels more and more like a wonderful desktop app - except I can get to it anywhere.

Thanks Mark.

I originally had it prototyped to resize on the fly, but there was just too much content moving around and it couldn't all keep up. The "move the bar then resize the panes" approach works much more smoothly.

I also wanted to keep it subtle and unobtrusive, yet easily accessible when you need it. I had little handles as visual cues in my prototype, but they really seemed to junk up the place so I pulled them out.

I guess I'll find out if it's too subtle or not. :)

Hey, nice job. That's a really neat feature, and done so well. So much better than any clunky frameset solution. It works great.
