I definitely think feedlounge's rendering of the post is the best of these 4 (reminiscent of NNW for sure).

In this situation we're talking about the HTML for an item in a feed. Showing the page within an iframe is problematic as some sites will attempt to "break out" of the iframe and take over the main browser window. We have a 'q' hotkey to open the current item in a new window/tab, I think many users accomplish what you are asking about by using that feature.

Oops still drinking 1st coffee of day

I of course meant feedlounge (sorry!)

To say more, you talked about rendering html in the podcast but i can't see a way to have a feed "rendered" like a full web view within one of the three panes of feedlounge, (that is without opening into a full new window)

thx, regards

Hi,

Enjoyed the podcast.

Does feedburner have any plans to add the option where links open:

- not in a new window
- not in a parent window
BUT
- open in the 3rd pane.

Personally once (or as) I scan a feed and decide to read more I hate opening new tabs/windows to read articles and want to read them within the reader

A rough survey seems about a third of readers have this option ... which for me just happens to be the most important.

Just asking

regards
