Keyboard Shortcuts
FeedLounge has a number of keyboard shortcuts to make your feed reading experience as smooth and fast as possible:
- Space bar - you can read all your feeds using just the space bar. Try it out, the space bar will scroll through the current item (marking it as read) to the next unread item. It’s a great way to read.
- Arrow keys - navigate lists, move focus between feeds/tags list and items list.
- Return/Enter - execute (save tags) or navigate (go to selected item in list),
- t - add/edit tags for the selected item
- f - flags and unflags an item.
- r - mark an item as read or unread.
- q - open external link for currently selected item in a new window.
- Delete - If a feed is selected, unsubscribe from the feed. If a tag is selected, you are prompted to remove only the tag or the tag and all feeds with that tag.
- a - open Subscribe window.
- i - open Feed or Tag Info window.
- 1 - switch to traditional 3-pane layout.
- 2 - switch to wide 3 column layout.
- 3 - switch to the “river of news” layout.
- Escape - hide the currently shown pop-up window, or cancel editing tags for a feed item.
- Page Up - scroll the current list (feeds, tags, items) up one “page”.
- Page Down - scroll the current list (feeds, tags, items) down one “page”.
- Home - jump to first item in the current list.
- End - jump to last item in the current list.
- [ - move to the previous page of items in the items list.
- ] - move to the next page of items in the items list.
- b - show previously viewed item.
- n - show next item - only available if back has been used.
- k - mark all items in the currently selected feed or tag as read (or all items in the current “page” - depending on yourchosen behavior).
- = - toggle the expanded/collapsed state of the current tag in the feed list. If you are on a feed inside the tag, the focus will change to the tag.
