What is a Feed Reader?

A feed reader is a software program or service that allows you to read feeds. Perhaps the easiest way to explain it is to explain what a feed reader does for you.

Think of Feed Lounge (or any feed reader) as a friend who goes out to all your favorite web sites (news sites, blogs, etc.) ever few hours to see if there is anything new there for you to see. If there is anything new, it shows up in your list of items.

Using a feed reader is a great time saver and a great way to be able to process vast amounts of information quickly. Most people find they can follow from 5-10x more sources using a feed reader than they can visiting individual web sites.
